Is known as a powerful resource which rules big part of the world in many aspects such as economy, politics, business, art, fashion and other ones. Some people think that money is the key of happiness, however, there are some who think the opposite. To make a discussion of this, I will like to share how is my relationship with money and what I do with it.
First of all, I don’t have any incomes from a job or something extracurricular because I’m just studying right now, I still depend financially from my parents. Even though, they give me money for material, clothes or other necessities, which in those cases I try to organize my expenses to make the money last. I’ve always tried to save all the money I can, but sadly I’m not good at it, I’m aware of the importance of having a backup so I decided to try my best so it for my future personal necessities.
The times I wanna hang out with my friends I use the money from my savings and sometimes my parents replenish it, even though I extremely appreciate it, I really don’t like it because I know that the savings are used for those cases, when I don’t need a big amount and it’s a personal like.
Nowadays I know the importance of money. It is the base of everything in the current economic situation, because of other situations such as the inflation and devaluation, everything has a cost. That’s why I must make an effort, work hard and learn to save, maybe try other options like expand my knowledge about investments where I’ll be assured the money will grow and have the results I expect.
My favorite cities
Each country is different in many ways such as the population, weather, food, lifestyle and even the history which is very important to know if you will be a tourist and you are looking for similarities between the cities. Traveling is the key to discover every city’s culture and make your knowledge bigger. However, for me it is also the way to make memories which will stay in your mind forever. Each city has their own attractive and are known for different aspects. The cities I chose are Sydney, Frankfurt and Milan which I think may have their similarities but also their differences.
Talking about population, Sydney has the biggest one between Frankfurt and Milan with 5, 361,466 habitants. However, Milan is bigger than Frankfurt with a difference of 633,142 habitants. On the other hand, in the proximity between one city and another, Sidney is the farthest because it belongs to another continent.
Between the three of them, Milan is the most popular city in the fashion industry, being one of the cities where the fashion week takes place. Even though, Sydney is the most touristic because of the surf, and Frankfurt is best known for its industry. If you want to visit them, you must consider that Sydney could be as expensive as Milan because of the tourism.
We can compare many aspects between the three of them, but we can’t name which one is the most alike or the most attractive to visit because it depends on the perspective of each person. I would love to visit Sydney and Milan to have a real perspective and give my most sincerely opinion.
Friendship connections
The moments I spent at school have shaped me in different ways. I’ve always been a responsable, constant and good student, however I also think that your personal life is always included and sometimes you have to figure how to make a balance between the social and school life. Additionally, in all this time, memories, friends, teachers, classmates, time and moments come together like in a package.
For me, my elementary school was the key of knowing how important is to pay attention in each class and how much you can learn about your teachers. In junior high school I learned to choose friends whom I truly loved and were loyal, supportive, and even today those friends I made are my closest. I keep that phase in my heart because was the transition to being a child into an adolescent and discovered many great things.
However, I believe my high school was a very special time which shaped me the most. I had the opportunity to go abroad twice and I’m really thankful for all the memories I made and the people I met. Those experiences helped me to become more realistic and independent, also to open my vision to knowing what I wanted in life.
Currently, I am studying at the university something which makes me incredibly happy, but also demanding me to work hard and give the best of me. I met a lot of people whose goals or likes are similar to mine and it’s funny how we all have a connection in common. Even though I haven’t finished it yet, I hope to make it worth and one day will been working in the job of my dreams.
Finding the right job
Finding an ideal job is really important to be able to enjoy the adult experience and the development of your skills. It can also help you with your self-esteem, because if you like what you’re doing, you do it better. However, you need to think about that it would carry responsibilities and time. But with hard work you will notice that it was worth it.
In this case, I believe in being a creative director for a luxury fashion brand like Dior, Oscar de la Renta, Vivetta and more. To be constantly involved in the fashion industry you must be aware of the trends, the different contexts in politics, economics, culture and social because most of the times it is used to inspire the designers to make the combination between clothing and expression.
I think I would have to create the designs, choose the fabrics, work with the model’s fit every test before a fashion show and supervised each process.
Additionally, I must be updated as I said in what is happening with society and in every part of the world. Also about trend colors, the new in fashion technology, the market I wanna direct me in the collection and everything that may help me to design it.
Talking about the payment it could depend on the area, you can work as a full time fashion designer, as an illustrator, fashion stylist or in an editorial. Maybe here in Mexico it could be harder to earn a fair payment but a lot of foreigners are willing to pay it because of the culture captured on the designs.
Finally, for me it’s important to be aware that I am doing something to reach this dream. I am studying, reading, working and preparing myself to become into this person in the future. It would make me really proud to be able to remember that what was just a dream, I was capable to turned it into a reality with time, hard work and sacrifices.
I’m really looking forward to be the designer I dream about.
What have changed in my life?
I have already done many things that I am grateful for. I had the opportunity to visit many countries as Germany and the US. I learned a lot about the culture, food, living style and other differences comparing to mine. I met a lot of people who I still keep in touch with.
Other examples are that I achieved certifications in english and german, also started learning a bit of french. Another change for me is my career. I am studying something that I really like no matter the stereotypes. Even that I have not finished it I would love to have the chance to be on a fashion show. To say more about what have changed are the way I prioritize activities that I love and take more time to appreciate moments.
Now I have different goals which I have been working on. Because of the school I became more independent and organized. However not everything is good. I am not having to much free time to working out or just relaxing. I have not been eating balanced as I used to eat. Also my sleep hours have changed.
Even so, we must be aware that life is just moments and that we are in a constant change. The point is doing what you really like and enjoy all the phases. Try something new too.
Renting an apartment rules
If I were the landlordof an apartment I would set out some rules for the tenants. First of all they must sign a contract to make it legal in case of troubles. Also they must agree to do the monthlypayment on time. In case of being an furnituned apartment they must take care of them.
I may be really chilled about parties, pets and guests keeping in mind they must be respectful. The apartment I am renting has two bedrooms, one of them with a complete bathroom and dresser. It also has the individual bathroom, kitchen, washingroom and livingroom. Some points I would negotiate would be:
-Electric and water bill it’s on the tenant
-If they want to hire phone/internet service it’s on the tenant
-Rent payment must be on time, with two-day extension
-Be in constant communication with me for any problem
-Keep the apartment clean and in order
With time maybe we will need to talk over some situations in order to get along this time because the most important aspect would be giving the tenant the chance to make the apartment a home, build a respectful and confident relationship with me and finally to have this space for them.
